You can make custom order for one of our cakes by contacting us HERE Please let us know the size, filling, decoration, finish and type of cake alongside the number of tiers. Customers can alter their cake to reflect their individual styles and be perhaps, the icing on the top of their special day.
Our bakers will then follow the instructions and choices you have selected on the form to recreate your perfect wedding cake. All cakes are individually tailored to suit our customers and crafted with care. Most specialty dietary alternatives are available at our bakery as well*

The Traditional French Croque en Bouche with homemade custard. The 3 foot show-stopping French masterpiece is a tower or ‘piece monte’ of approximately 200 profiteroles all filled with a vanilla crème pâtissière assembled with caramel sugar then decorated with almond croquent, sugar almonds and sugar flowers. This particular option serves both as the unforgettable wedding centrepiece and as a dessert to be served after dinner with the capacity to be divided into 70 portions of 3 profiteroles per person. We’re more than happy to make as many extra profiteroles as you wish – perfect as a late night snack for guests to munch on. All profiteroles can be filled to match the cake and/or with simple whipped cream, chocolate mousse, lemon cream, hazelnut or café flavour all covered in a rich chocolate glaze. We also offer selection bundles so your guests can choose from their favourite fillings.
A luscious Belgian Chocolate Gateaux with either chocolate or vanilla sponge filled with a chocolate mousse from white, milk or rich dark Belgian chocolate. Finished with a chocolate glaze and the choice of chocolate curls or frills to add to the décor of this wedding cake favourite.
Customers can opt for a lighter, sweet option and choose from one of our classic Madeira Cakes – orange or lemon scented, marbled with cocoa and filled with a light Italian buttercream with the choice of flavour between bourbon vanilla, coffee, nougat, raspberry, blackcurrant and strawberry.
If the idea of a modest Madeira wedding cake doesn’t tickle your fancy, you can order one of our Austrian Sacher Tortes – a light as a feather chocolate sponge cake with chocolate melted through it before baking filled with blackcurrant jam and chocolate ganache flavoured with tipple of your choice.
Both cakes can be finished traditionally with roll-out icing in white or ivory and decorated with sugar flowers and/or piped icing.
One of our most popular orders is the Chocolate Biscuit Cake made with rich Belgian chocolate ganache, a cheesecake and handmade biscuit base baked with meringues and marshmallows inside. This heavenly rich classic is finished with a chocolate glaze and decorated with chocolate curls and/or frills.
At George’s Patisserie, our bakers enjoy nothing more than a traditional Fruit Cake using a recipe which has been passed down through our family for generations. All ingredients are natural from the real butter, country eggs, flaked almonds and the highest quality organic dried fruits delicately laced in Irish whisky. All fruit cakes are covered in a blanket of real marzipan almond paste and topped with roll-out icing in white or ivory and finally decorated with sugar flowers and/or a piped icing design of your choice.
Our cakes can be delivered to the wedding location provided that we have an address, directions and a map to ensure your cake arrives at the venue on time and as fresh as it was leaving the bakery. We also offer a cake stand renting service with prices starting from as little as €5**.
